A filter allows you to directly sort an email into the folder of your choice as soon as it's received, based on criteria you've chosen (e.g., sender, specific subject, etc.).

  1. Create a folder in your inbox: right-click «New folder» on your email address in the top left
  2. Enter the name you wish, for example IAM_PERSONEL; validate
  3. Go to «Tools» then «Message Filter»
  4. New...
  5. Fill in the fields
Filters allow you to automate the sorting of emails with your regular contacts. The advantage is to limit the congestion of the «Inbox» folder, thus reducing the risk of corruption.
You can create multiple filters (e.g., one per contact); they will be executed in the order they were created.
